DAS BESTE VOM RIESLING - AUSLESE
Hints of honey, deep smokey minerals, generous with focused peach and pineapple aromas and flavors. Has both power and finesse. A monumental Riesling with impressive stone fruit echo on the finish.

SAUVIGNON BLANC - BRUNNKREUZ

GRŰNER VELTLINER -HŐHLGRABEN
The equivalent to a Federspiel from the Wachau area. Well rounded, drink animating wine, perfect with just about any food or as "the party wine".

GRŰNER VELTLINER - DREIGÄRTEN - RESERVE
The equivalent to a Smaragd wine from the Wachau area. A Veltliner with an expressive style, body and a delicate bouquet. The best grapes from 3 vineyards are selected to make this wine, hence "DREIGÄRTEN" (Three gardens).

GRUNER VELTLINER - GŐTTWEIGER BERG

DAS BESTE VOM VELTLINER - AUSLESE
Hints of ripe stone fruit aromas, veiled by sweetness with finely interwoven Veltliner spiciness. The palate is captured by its delicacy and refined acidity perfectly offsetting the residual sweetness. Displays delicious apricot jam flavors which are marbelized by lovely botrytis notes. Extremely long-lived.

The wine-growing area totals 2175 hectares. Grüner Veltliner and Riesling are the main varieties growing on primary rock and loess. Chardonnay is increasing. A speciality is the spicy Rote Veltliner. Some wine-makers are producing excellent red and sparkling wines.
On the eastern border of the Wachau, where the Krems river twists and turns, is also the wine region of Kremstal and the enchanting town of Krems, of course. Together with Und and Stein, it is one of Austria's oldest communities.
The character of this medieval town has been preserved - so have all of the impressive late Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings.

The history of Krems has always been associated with wine. Its school for viticulture was founded in 1875 and continues to educate wine lovers and future professionals in the field. Both the local wine museum and the Kloster Und vinothèque offer a unique view into the culture of the region. It is in the cellar of Kloster Und, a former monastery, where you have the opportunity to taste the finest wines from all of Austria.
Due to the diligent efforts of the region, wine-growing in
Krems has increased year by year, and since 1988, it has been host to the "Niederösterreichische
Landesweinmesse", the Lower Austrian Wine
Fair. There are well-known wine
villages in the surroundings: Göttweig, Furth, Gedersdorf, Rohrendorf and
Senftenberg. While soils with primary rock are found throughout the area, loess
is predominant.
